WHY WE FIGHT

It Is A Bottom Up Revolution

Its time for the States of the Union to take back their

power from an out of control Federal government.

A good parson once said that where mystery begins religion ends. Cannot I say, as truly at least,

of human laws, that where mystery begins, justice ends?--Edmund Burke, 1756

Well, it is time to pay the piper. The American people have discovered that they can vote themselves money.

Why have the American people allowed their government to spend our country into the toilet and wreck

the only economic engine that could save us from destruction?

Paraphrasing Ben Franklin, once people find that they can vote themselves money it will be the end of the republic. Common sense.

Ben was talking about a concept from a 17th century Scot, Alexander Tytler.

Described as THE TYTLER CYCLE:

A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government.

A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves

generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates

who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally

collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the

world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200

years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith;

From spiritual faith to great courage;

From courage to liberty;

From liberty to abundance;

From abundance to complacency;

From complacency to apathy;

From apathy to dependence;

From dependence back into bondage.

The Beginning of the End

Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of

the beginning.--Winston Churchill November 1942. Unrelated, but a good quote!!

Believe it or not, the big slide into catastrophic socialism may have been started by the Republican dominated US

Congress of the Civil War era when we passed, in an effort to fund the Civil War, The Revenue Act of 1861.

This law dictated a levy, collected, and paid, upon annual income of every person residing in the U.S.

whether derived from any kind of property, or from any professional trade, employment, or vocation

carried on in the United States or elsewhere, or from any source whatever will be duly collected

Rates under the Act were 3% on income above $800 (adjusted for inflation: $17,679 in as of 2008 dollars)

and 5% on income of individuals living outside the country.

The Revenue Act of 1861 was signed into law by Lincoln, the first Republican President. It is notable that this Act

introduced Federal income tax as a flat rate tax. Also, that this Act was not constitutionally challenged

in the United States Supreme Court for being unapportioned (a problem which was eventually resolved by the

16th Amendment).

The income tax provision in Sections 49,50 and 51, was repealed by the Revenue Act of 1862. See Sec.89,which replaced the

flat rate with a progressive scale of 3% on annual incomes beyond $600 and 5% on incomes above $10,000 or

those living outside the U.S., and perhaps more significantly it was explicitly temporary, specifying

termination of income tax was to be in the year 1866.

Some might say the slide began in 1913 with the passage of the 16th,17th Amendments and the Federal Reserve Act.

Now America had the machinery in place to vindicate Ben's words above.

First, the major checks and balances tool that our founders put in the Constitution was removed with the 17th Amendment

changing how US Senators were chosen. Before 1913 they were appointed by their respective States.

After 1913 they were elected by the people in their States. Now the Senate had no allegience to their

own states, per se, but to the masses that elected them. Why is this important? Because the 16th Amendment

changed how money was raised by the Federal Government. It gave us the Income Tax. Now the Federal

Government did not have to rely on the States for the majority of her expenses, because the Fed had

bypassed the States and the rules of apportionment, the reason for the Census, with this tax. Imagine

the UN gaining tax rights over every citizen in the countries of the world. Who would control the UN?

Would the UN Control us? This is what happened to this country in 1913. The States were off the hook

for paying taxes to support the Federal Government and they lost the direct control of the US Senate in

stopping crazy spending.

So in effect we have a House which must originate all spending bills, checked by a Senate [who no longer are appointed

by their respective States] which does not have to worry where the money is coming from because they no

longer have to assess their respective States directly for the cash. They are basically, House members

with 6 year terms. Finally, the final Check is the President.

This system breaks down once the politicians realize that they can spend more money than they have, like

kids with a new credit card for the first time. And this bad behavior, bordering on treason, but definately

supporting fraud is what we have today with an out of control Congress and Federal Government.

The final nail in the coffin would be the creation of the Federal Reserve, whose slight of hand with the monetary policy

of the United States facilitates the bad behavior of Congress. And opens the door for Special Interests

to loot the Fedral Treasury. Just look at key employees all through the Federal Treasury Department to

include the Federal Reserve. Who did these folks work for before they took their jobs? Some basic

investigation shows that certain companies benefitted most from the Federal Bail Out laws of 2008 and 2009.

Their main competitors were allowed to fail and those entities that owed them money were allowed to be saved.

Coincidence? Not wanting to point the finger here, but who survived and who failed and why needs to be

explored. So we now live in an Oligarchy leaning towards Socialist Fascism. But it is not too late to act.

Our people are not the same people who influenced these changes in the late 1800's and early 1900's

We believe that the slide happened earlier than the

Civil War, and is related to the influx of new

immigrants from Europe who brought with them the socialist ideology born out of the industrial revolution.

Most socialists of that period opposed the dislocations brought by the Industrial Revolution. They

criticized what they conceived to be the injustice, inequalities and suffering which the Industrial

Revolution brought into being and the laissez faire free market on which it rested.

The European Revolutions of 1848, known in some countries as the Spring of Nations or the Year of Revolution, were a

series of political upheavals throughout the European continent. Described by some historians as a

revolutionary wave, the period of unrest began on 12 January 1848 in Sicily and then, further propelled

by the French Revolution of 1848, soon spread to the rest of Europe. Although most of the revolutions

were quickly put down, there was a significant amount of violence in many areas, with tens of thousands

of people tortured and killed. While the immediate political effects of the revolutions were reversed,

the long-term reverberations of the events were far-reaching.

Alexis de Tocqueville remarked in his Recollections of the period that: society was cut in two: those who had nothing

united in common envy, and those who had anything united in common terror.

The revolutions of 1848, in Europe, sent many people in flight to America. With them they brought their Socialistic beliefs

And in some cases they brought their revolutions too. And unfortunately Winston would say

that this was the end of the beginning.

Because millions of immigrants brought their Socialism with them and over time and that Socialism crept

into the fiber of both major political parties. The Socialists, who at the time called themselves

"Progressives", had their largest victory when Federal power was usurped from the States with the passing

of the 16th and 17th amendments. These actions released the floodgates and gave the Feds the direct power

of taxation, with no check on that power with State Appointed Senators.

Human nature did the rest, and we have been spiraling towards large and larger deficits ever since. When our society

falls like a house of cards we will have obligations to special interests and foreign powers that will shape

the coming dictatorship. The Socialists in Congress just have to be the last ones standing in order to be

part of that totalitarian transformation of America. Will you sit by and do nothing while your country is stolen from you?

While your family is sold down the road to Fascist Slavery; Will we all be living in the home of the slave and the land of the downtrodden?

This is why we fight. This is why we support, among others, the 10th Amendment and the 2nd Amendment to our

Constitution. This is why America is on the march. We need to take back our Congress and our Freedom!
